New Release: Omada Identity, version 14 update 9

October 1, 2021

The Omada Identity, version 14 update 9 release builds on Omada’s track record of innovation with improved identity analytics and configurability to simplify identity governance, strengthen security, and empower customers.

This release from the Omada product team will help in not only raising cybersecurity capabilities for Omada customers, but also in allowing them to meet the rigors and demands of their modern enterprises, from distributed and remote workforces, to deploying hybrid and multi-cloud applications and making data-informed decisions in real-time, all without impacting day-to-day operations. These enhancements focus on the three key areas: identity analytics, segregation of duties, and connectivity.

Identity Analytics

With this release we have redesigned the Omada Analytics Engine to deliver analytics in real-time and enriched the Analytics Engine with Desired State data. This will arm customers with real-time analytics within their Dashboards and KPIs to help assess their Current State. This new release also introduces an additional source of Desired State data to empower customers to make informed and timely business decisions when needed, focusing on what is most important to them.

Dashboards have been enhanced with additional data to enable customers to drill down into the findings behind a certain KPI. This will enable Omada customers to stay in control of all identities and maintain compliance by constantly monitoring the current state of compliance and taking immediate action whenever there is an issue.

The Analytics Engine has been enriched with recertification survey data sources, which provides customers with numerous KPIs and key figures around Access Recertification, making it much easier to evaluate the current compliance state and help them make informed, efficient decisions while avoiding certification fatigue.

Segregation of Duties (SoD)

Omada customers can also now link Compensating Controls to Constraints, enabling evaluators of constraint violations to easily select between a list of Compensating Controls. This helps to ensure that SoD constraints are efficiently integrated into the business processes, and that no identity is assigned access rights violating constraints without proper evaluation and approval. For SoD evaluations evaluators have until now had to choose between long lists of Compensating Controls, but are now able to only allow SoD violations in a simple workflow that focuses on only the correct reasons.

Connectivity

Customers that set up integrations between Omada Identity and SAP systems expect imports to be fast, resilient, and sturdy. With this release, Omada Identity and connected SAP systems now have paging support when importing data from the SAP system to Omada. As such, customers will experience smoother and more successful imports from SAP systems.
