We’re excited to announce the May 2025 release of Omada Identity Cloud, featuring the groundbreaking introduction of Javi – Omada’s IGA Assistant. This release also includes enhancements to role insights capabilities, improvements to list views for a more intuitive user experience, and new support for access requests for non-human identities.
Introducing Javi Omada’s IGA Assistant – Now available in the Microsoft Teams Store.
Javi is designed to transform the identity governance user experience by providing a conversational interface for performing common tasks from a universal interface.
Key release features supported in Microsoft Teams include:
- Access Requests: Submit and manage access requests with ease.
- Access Approvals: Approve access requests directly.
- Omada Documentation: Leverage Q&A AI agent with Q&A capabilities to get answers to questions and retrieve documentation quickly.
- Scheduled Notifications: Receive notifications on pending approvals.
- Multilingual Conversation: Interact with Javi in multiple languages.
Role Insights updates
This release expands Role Insights with new features that revolutionize role management.
Instead of manually creating roles based on role candidates in Role Insights, users can now generate role candidates with a single click from the Role Insights tool.
Additionally, a new on-demand feature has been added, allowing administrators to refresh the data model and dashboard to discover potential new role candidates at any time.
UX Improvements
We’re also rolling out improvements to make Omada’s list views more intuitive and user-friendly. To avoid accidental misconfigurations, users are prevented from hiding the “More” and “Checkbox” columns. Also, mandatory fields on the access approval screen can no longer be hidden.
Access Request for Non-Human Identities:
This release introduces a dedicated access request process for non-human identities. This will make it easier for administrators and system owners to manage requests for non-humans, as their requirements differ slightly from those for humans.
