We’re excited to share our latest enhancements to Omada Identity Cloud as part of our April 2025 release. Today’s update continues our commitment to streamline identity management, improve user experience, and bolster compliance capabilities. This release includes improvements to Role Insights, the ability to cancel access requests, and additional configuration options for connectivity and the UI.
Simplify Complex Role Management with Enhanced Role Insights
Role Insights is an analytics-driven feature designed to simplify and optimize role management within organizations. With the April 2025 release, the Role Insights Analytics Dashboard has been significantly upgraded. It now delivers superior visual overviews and powerful drill-down functionalities that empower administrators to deeply analyze role structures, streamline assignments, and drive informed decision-making. These enhancements make managing roles not only more efficient but also more strategic, supporting effective identity governance and improved compliance across the enterprise.
Access Navigator – Omada Identity Analytics
Introducing Access Navigator, a powerful new analytics dashboard providing valuable insights into your organization’s access rights from an identity-first perspective. Offering a consolidated, dynamic view across systems, contexts, accounts, and assignments, Access Navigator simplifies the complexities of identity management. Administrators can quickly identify trends, detect anomalies, and proactively manage potential security risks. With advanced filtering and sorting capabilities, users can effortlessly drill down into details, refine searches, and swiftly act on critical information. Access Navigator enhances operational efficiency, ensures robust security, strengthens compliance, delivering transparency and greater control over identity management processes.
User Interface
- Cancel Access Request: Cancelling a request has never been easier. The requestor or the beneficiary of an access request can now cancel any pending access requests. This enables users to correct potential mistakes they have made in the request process without needing to contact a service desk agent.
- Improved UI with Quick Filters: A comprehensive search feature has been introduced which acts as a “quick filter” in list views. It complements existing filters, enabling administrators and users to swiftly locate required data across all visible fields, significantly enhancing the user experience and operational efficiency.
- Advanced UI Configurability: Administrators gain greater flexibility to tailor the user interface to organizational needs. Identity and resource side panels in access requests and approvals can now be customized, and list views can be refined by selecting which fields are visible by default and which are hidden. This allows for cleaner, more personalized interfaces—empowering users without overwhelming them.
Unified Connectivity and Seamless Integrations
Omada Identity Cloud is designed to connect the dots across your digital ecosystem to allow for holistic Identity Governance and Administration. With deep, pre-built integrations and flexible connectivity options, it simplifies how organizations unify identity data and enforce governance policies across platforms. Whether it’s cloud applications, HR systems like Workday, or complex compliance tools like SAP GRC, Omada’s integration framework ensures seamless data flows, secure automation, and consistent control—empowering organizations to scale their identity strategies without friction.
Seamless Workday Integration
As part of the April 2025 release, Omada has introduced a new connectivity package for Workday through their native REST API. This out-of-the-box integration streamlines the onboarding process and ensures seamless connectivity for identities managed through Workday.
Flexible API Connectivity
The release also includes the ability to specify content types per operation—ideal for cases where ‘create’ and ‘update’ actions require different content-type headers in the API. This granular control ensures robust, reliable integrations tailored to specific requirements.
Our latest connectivity improvement allows specifying content types individually per operation. This capability ensures precise control over integrations, accommodating scenarios where different operations—such as creating or updating data—require distinct content types.
SAP GRC
Omada Identity Cloud is certified for integration with SAP systems and is trusted by organizations that rely on SAP for critical business operations. In this release we provide two new capabilities to further tighten our integration.
- Enhanced SAP GRC Integration – Role Unfolding for SAP GRC Risk Checks: We’ve expanded our Policy and Risk Check capability for SAP GRC integration. Now, Omada Identity Cloud unfolds role hierarchies before the SAP GRC check, including business roles with multiple SAP resources, and sends detailed assignments directly to SAP GRC for precise risk analysis. This offers increased compliance flexibility and deeper insights during access request approvals.
- Support for Multiple SAP GRC Instances: You can now configure Omada Identity Cloud to integrate seamlessly with multiple SAP GRC instances. Assign distinct SAP systems to their respective GRC instances, ensuring accurate and relevant compliance checks, significantly enhancing configuration flexibility for complex SAP environments.
