That’s why we’ve completely revamped the Omada Identity UI, introducing significant enhancements to the access request workflow, homepage, and menu structure. These improvements streamline interaction and information retrieval, fostering a more efficient and productive identity management experience.
The revamped access request workflow features intuitive navigation, eliminating the need for complex menu exploration. Users can now expect clear and concise status updates at each stage of the process, ensuring transparency and timely completion. Additionally, the introduction of a customizable homepage empowers users to personalize their experience by readily accessing frequently used features through convenient bookmarks. Our new menu structure further optimizes efficiency, allowing users to quickly find the information they need.
The new access approval workflow is intuitive and user-friendly, empowering users to easily request access to resources.
Administrators can easily control which contexts of a resource are selectable.
Governance for Omada Identity
Maintaining control over your identity environment is crucial. Version 15 introduces the ability to onboard the Omada Identity application to your platform without needing to create a custom integration. This enhancement provides governance for Omada Identity, helping you stay compliant with comprehensive reporting. This also allows more granular management of Omada Identity Groups, empowering administrators to assign user groups through flexible assignment policies.

Optimizing Access Approvals with Policy-Driven Risk Mitigation
Timely access approvals are essential for business agility. This release streamlines the process for approvers by introducing a centralized approval page, acting as a one-stop shop for all access requests. Accessible from any device, this consolidated view empowers approvers to manage approvals conveniently. The page also boasts customizable layouts, allowing for personalized task prioritization and boosted efficiency. Finally, the tabular workflow presents each approval step in a separate tab, offering clear context and enabling faster, more informed decisions. Approvers will also now see approval task cards prominently displayed on their homepage for all incoming requests. This refined approval process ensures timely access approvals, crucial for maintaining business agility and security.
Our new single-page approval workflow also incorporates policy and risk checks to enhance security and compliance. These checks utilize SoD policies, peer access analysis, and SAP GRC to identify potential risks. If any risks are detected, a warning will appear at the top of the page, alerting approvers to potential issues before granting access. This functionality has also been extended to our GraphQL API; empowering you to utilize Omada’s comprehensive IGA capabilities within your preferred tools.

When Omada Identity Cloud identifies a potential risk, a banner is displayed at the top of the access approvals screen. Approvers can click “See More” next to the requester to see which policy the approval would violate.
Approvers now have approval task cards on their home page, ensuring that approvals are handled swiftly.
Beyond the Big Three
While these key areas highlight the major enhancements, version 15 boasts additional improvements:
- Connectivity Enhancements: Omada’s Connectivity Framework empowers seamless integrations. Leverage POST calls for data retrieval, map null values in REST connectors, and explore new pagination options for advanced system integrations. With these enhancements, Omada can support additional systems, including SAP Concur and Basware.
- Child Resource Visibility: Get clear insights into child permissions of requested resources, eliminating the need to call the support desk for clarification on access requests. This feature is especially beneficial for multi-level role models, allowing users to easily understand which resources contain child resources.
- Online Centralized Documentation: Omada Identity documentation can now be found on our centralized Omada Documentation Portal. With version control, comprehensive search capabilities, and user-friendly navigation, users can quickly find the information they need.
