We’re excited to share the September 2025 release of Omada Identity Cloud, bringing new enhancements that make access requests simpler, identity analytics more powerful, and administration more efficient. These updates improve everyday usability, deliver clearer governance insight, and give administrators more control to operate at scale. Let’s take a closer look at the new capabilities now available:
Smarter Access Requests and User Experience
This release introduces a set of improvements designed to make requesting and managing access faster, clearer, and less error-prone. With configurable resource filters, customers are no longer limited to two fixed search options. Administrators can now define filters that reflect business categories such as system, role, or account type, enabling more precise and relevant searches.

Smart Request Links further simplify the access request process. Previously, administrators and managers often had to guide employees through multiple steps to request specific resources or identities, increasing the chance of confusion and mistakes. With smart URL generation, managers can now create links that open the request flow with identities, resources, or both already pre-loaded. Employees start in the right place immediately, eliminating the need for step-by-step instructions and reducing errors.
Managers also gain clearer visibility into access relationships. A new hierarchical resource view allows them to see how child resources are tied to parent systems, offering both simplified and more detailed views of access dependencies.

Finally, transfer surveys are now more accurate. Previously, these surveys could include expired or rejected assignments, leading to wasted time and confusion. With this release, invalid questions are automatically removed, keeping transfer surveys clean, relevant, and easy to complete.
Stronger Analytics and Compliance Insight
Identity governance is only as valuable as the insight it provides, and customers can struggle to show clear results without manual data pulls or complex analysis. This release expands Omada Identity Analytics to make outcomes easier to measure and present.
The new IGA Scorecard Dashboard consolidates core metrics such as onboarded identities, account provisioning, transfers, and data quality into a single, easy-to-read view. This gives executives a straightforward way to demonstrate ROI, prove compliance, and highlight efficiency gains. By replacing manual reporting with an always-available dashboard, customers gain a continuous and reliable measure of governance performance.
Point-in-time data quality reporting further extends this capability. Previously, customers had limited ways to understand the state of identity data at a specific moment in time. Now, they can run dedicated reports that show exactly what their data looked like at any chosen point. This makes it faster to identify quality issues, easier to answer audit questions, and simpler to maintain consistent governance over time.
Greater Administrative Control and Efficiency
Administrators have often had to set system thresholds based on guesswork, with limited visibility into past provisioning patterns. This could lead to misconfigured settings that cause system strain or underutilized resources.
The new provisioning analytics module shows historical activity and suggests threshold values based on past trends. This helps administrators configure provisioning thresholds more accurately and reduce risks, resulting in smoother operations with less overhead.
